I believe that B2B Sales and Marketing is the grease that lubricates the GDP engine, and that when done well, is a noble and honorable practice that can generate lifelong friendships. I also believe it is done badly enough times, that a stereotype of the commission hungry, “do anything for a sale”, salesperson that persists (and let’s be honest, is reinforced by “do anything for a sale” sales leaders.)

With over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, and leadership, I have dedicated my career to driving growth and innovation for organizations of all sizes. I’ve been in the founding management team of a startup that raised over 45million USD in venture capital, worked for listed public organizations and everything in between. I’ve worked and lived in the UK, Germany, USA and Canada. As a public speaker, I have delivered over 1000 webinars and dozens of speaking events both private and public.

As an experienced leader, I specialize in transforming revenue operations and crafting strategic marketing initiatives that deliver measurable results. My journey spans various industries, including technology, financial services, cybersecurity, seafood, publishing and data management, allowing me to bring a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to every client engagement.

Over the course of my career, I first sold using Ethical Sales methods, then led and coached teams to do the same. The further up the career ladder I rose, the more I recognized how Sales and Marketing are intertwined and need to speak with one voice. So I integrated myself with Marketing teams, built cross-functional teams and projects that shared each’s expertise and worked towards common goals.

What is Ethical Sales? In my opinion it encompasses Buyer-Centric sales processes, transparency and focusing on the long-term relationship not the short term sale. It involves finding a product you genuinely believe can improve your ideal prospect’s work life, preferably better than the competition can. And then sharing that vision with future customers.
